In times of crisis, babies need nourishment, protection, and comfort
And In these circumstances, breastfeeding becomes more essential cause it provides food, comfort & immunity when needs are little.
But in shelters, breastfeeding mothers lack privacy and a peaceful space to nurse their babies.
As a breastfeeding mother myself & a member of the breastfeeding organisation La Leche League Lebanon (LLL), I felt the need to help in the way I know best — through my atelier
Today, the LLL leaders and I are starting small initiative to create breastfeeding covers for mothers in shelters so they can nourish their babies with calm & dignity
