Addressing climate change and protecting biodiversity are interconnected priorities that require businesses to think beyond their immediate operations and consider their long-term impact on the environment.

These priorities were central to the discussions at the Biodiversity Action Forum 2026, where Sid Hirdaramani, Director of Hirdaramani Group, joined industry leaders and experts to share perspectives on the role of businesses in protecting nature, building resilience and creating long-term value.

As we recognise International Day of Climate Action, these discussions serve as a reminder that meaningful progress depends on moving from commitments to action, strengthening partnerships and making environmental responsibility an integral part of business strategy.

Through our Future First 2.0 Sustainability Roadmap, we continue to build on this approach, recognising that protecting nature and addressing climate change are important to creating a more sustainable future.

A Presidential Recognition of Purpose in Action.

Five national honours recognising our commitment to turning sustainability into action.

A proud moment for Hirdaramani Apparel as five of our Sri Lankan facilities receive recognition at the 2026 Presidential Environment Awards, Sri Lanka’s highest recognition for environmental excellence.

Hirdaramani Seethawaka (Washing) received the Gold Award, Hirdaramani Seethawaka the Silver Award, and Hirdaramani Kuruwita the Bronze Award, while Hirdaramani Ja Ela (Washing) and Hirdaramani Vavuniya each received Merit Awards.

These national honours recognise the collective efforts of our teams to advance environmental excellence and responsible manufacturing, guided by our renewed Future First 2.0 Sustainability Roadmap and our continued commitment to turning sustainability goals into meaningful action.

Their 3 - 0 victory in the final reflects the dedication, discipline and teamwork that brought the team together throughout this tournament.

Congratulations to our Women’s Volleyball Team on this remarkable achievement.

This International Day of Sign Languages, we recognise the importance of creating workplaces where everyone can communicate, connect and contribute.

Through our renewed Future First 2.0 Sustainability Roadmap, we are strengthening our focus on social sustainability through the W.E.A.V.E. framework, supporting greater inclusion, accessibility and participation across as One Hirdaramani.

Through practical initiatives that build awareness and communication skills, we are helping our teams better connect with and support colleagues with hearing or speech disabilities.

Inclusion extends beyond communication. It is about understanding one another, removing barriers and creating opportunities for everyone to be heard, valued and included.
