ONE YEAR OF TURTLE ROLL 🥹🐢🤍
It’s actually hard to tell you the exact day Turtle Roll was born haha. There was no big launch, no fancy campaign. Just a couple of Instagram posts, two stories and a handful of friends who knew what I’d been working on behind the scenes.
And somehow, here we are. ONE YEAR LATER!
What a wild ride it’s been. I feel like my fellow founders and small business owners will know exactly what I’m talking about.
The highs are HIGH and the lows are LOW. One day you spend hours trying to figure out how to change a colour on your website, and the next, a simple like or comment from a complete stranger makes your entire day. 🥹
The past year has been a complete 180 from what I originally planned. So many unexpected turns, lessons, mistakes, happy moments and a few tears along the way.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that you can’t control everything. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the ride and see where it takes you.
And I’ll be honest. Since January, when I started realising that maybe, just maybe, I was building something really special, I haven’t had a proper day or weekend off.
I’m still figuring out how to balance a demanding full-time job, Turtle Roll and, well… having a life haha.
But gosh, I’m proud of this little brand and everything it’s becoming.
To every single person who has followed, liked, commented, shared, purchased or simply cheered me on from the sidelines — THANK YOU. You probably have no idea how much those little things mean to me.
One year down. So much more to learn, create and experience.
