Empowering the Next Generation Through Creativity

This Children’s Day, we organized a simple yet meaningful event to encourage creativity and confidence among our Hela family’s children.

Through art competitions, pot painting and crown making, face painting, and a thoughtful interactive session, children explored their imagination and expressed their ideas with joy and curiosity.

This year’s UNICEF theme, “Listen to the Future. Stand up for Children’s Rights.”, reminds us that every child’s voice matters - and nurturing their creativity is an investment in a better tomorrow.

Battle of the Brains: Hela Edition

The energy was high and the competition fierce at Hela Apparel Holdings, Kirulapana, as 13 teams went head-to-head in an epic quiz showdown. From current affairs and science to arts, music, and industry insights, the questions tested both wit and teamwork. Organised by our dynamic HR team and hosted by the Quiz Master Shehan Kumar, the event brought together the best of Hela’s knowledge, camaraderie, and competitive spirit. A big shoutout to all the teams who joined the fun, and a special congratulations to the champions of Hela Brainiacs 2025!
