The First Working Day Celebrations for the SML-Sri Lanka team began with religious blessings from the clergy of all major religions, fostering unity and spiritual well-being. Mr. Ravi Nanayakkara, Senior Director of Sales & Operations for Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Emerging Markets, shared the theme for the year, inspiring growth and collaboration. The event also featured the sharing of a sweetmeat, symbolizing prosperity, caring, and the spirit of sharing, along with blessings for the team’s success in the new year. Additionally, company-branded clocks and stationary packs were distributed to the children of the employees, reinforcing the company’s commitment to family and community.
