The government announced that they were receiving 20 persons from the US as being deported but however the government received only 15 on Thursday.

The remaining 5 reportedly resisted coming to Liberia as they were transferred to Equatorial Guinea that's according to the Reuters

Liberia National Police Traffic Advisory: Flooding in Parts of Montserrado

The Liberia National Police (LNP) informs the public that due to ongoing heavy rainfall, flooding has been reported in several communities across Montserrado County.

All motorists, tricycle operators, motorcyclists, and pedestrians are hereby advised to exercise maximum caution, reduce speed, and remain alert when using the following affected corridors:

โ€ข Paynesvilleโ€“Sinkor Route
โ€ข Dualaโ€“Central Monrovia Corridor
โ€ข Gardnersvilleโ€“Freeport Axis
โ€ข Carey Street
โ€ข Randall Street

The LNP strongly cautions motorists against driving through heavily flooded areas, as doing so may result in vehicle damage, loss of control, or danger to life and property.

Traffic officers have been deployed along key routes to manage movement and provide guidance. The public is urged to follow all instructions issued by officers on duty.

The Liberia National Police encourages all road users to drive carefully, remain patient, and prioritize safety during this period of adverse weather.
