VISION
Our vision remains to become preferred Multi-disciplinary ,ethically and innovative at national level and a recognized International player of our times while growing shareholder investments and creating jobs for our church members and professionals. It was not easy, as we started with unskilled people and with simple treadle machines as we had no electricity in our premises. Later we chang

ed over to hand operated sewing machines, then electric domestic machines, being operated by the power of a generator and finally, we bought industrial sewing machines. The factory was running nicely in Mohale’s Hoek, but, on the long run it became too difficult to operate this project, so far away from Maseru. Therefore, it was decided to move this factory over to Maseru. MOVING THE FACTORY OVER TO MASERU
Since January 1999 AFM Handicraft is officially operating in Maseru and it’s going very well. EMBROIDERY
In the meantime we also bought three(3) single-head embroidery machines and one(1) 18-heads machine and we are doing the most beautiful embroidery work on garments and even the digitizing of logos is being done in-house. SHOP IN TOWN
A few years ago we also opened a shop in the center of Maseru where we are selling the articles, which we are manufacturing. Mainly we manufacture school uniform, but also any other uniform and clothing. We are selling this to individuals as well as in bulk orders to various schools and organizations. EMPLOYEES
Presently there are thirty-one (31) Basotho people employed. With the present staff of thirty-one employees, AFM Handicraft is dedicated to provide an excellent service for our customers in quality, punctuality and compatible prizes. CURRENT SITUATION
AFM Handicraft has graduated from infancy and sustained the hard trying times of entrepreneurship management. Our designers, embroiders, digitizers, machine operators, manager financer officer has over two years experience which give our business competitive edge. AFM Handicraft has gathered experience from various schools, private companies, government ministries and individuals and ultimate excellence bears history.
