Scouting a location for the shoot was not challenging at all, as the main inspiration for the collection was the Curonian Spit itself. We considered it an obvious choice to hold the shoot in Juodkrante village. We envisioned it being set in nature and surrounded by fisherman's knick-knacks. All the props you see in the photos are not actually props; they are the genuine items fishermen use on a daily basis to this day. The quality of the team's effort is clearly evident, or so we like to believe.

The Preila blouse is made out of 55% linen 45% cotton fabric. The shape draws inspiration from the traditional 19th-century fisherman's wife blouse, which has become known worldwide as a peasant blouse. However, we've modernized this classic piece by shortening the length and adding a stunning long neckline opening at the front that reveals a bit more skin. While the blouse isn't overly modest, the draping of the fabric provides coverage and prevents revealing too much.
