Let's talk about the most important part of our creations - FABRICS 🍀
I oftenly got asked why I choose only natural materials & deadstock, as sometimes it limits my creative options, also creates challenges such how to make them waterproof, etc. 🧵
But we value our planets resources, which are limited and when around 2 billion, yes 2 Billion people on our planet don't have clean drinking water. So to use from 10 to 20 thousand liters of water to make 1kg of cotton that nobody needs sounds as awful waste, right? 🥹
The sad truth is that after trends changes, nobody needs them anymore and fashion industry waste around 100million tons of textiles each year.
At best they ends at deadstock shops, at worst - in landfills or even being burnt down, which means that we're using water & energy for nothing..
We choose only natural deadstock fabrics such as cotton and linen to reduce that waste & save our planets resources which are more valuable these days than ever ✨️
Choosing deadstock means less waste, lover environmental impact and also unique designs, as limited quantities often makes them unique & one of a kind! ✨️
For us, every fabric tells a story & we're making sure that this time it's a good one! ❤️🧵
