If you’re looking for swimwear that visually transforms your proportions, use our guide ⤵️

▫️Elongate your torso. One-piece swimsuits are your best friend. The alternation of fabric and bare skin is perceived by the eye as several parts of one figure — it takes a cognitive effort to “compose” all the zones into one.

▫️Add volume to your hips. To create shape in this area, choose bottoms with ruffles and decorative details. Or go the opposite way — ultra minimalist, with a leg opening that sits higher than usual. However, if a Brazilian-cut bottom has side ties, the effect will be reversed: the bows will fall over the hips and hide a few extra centimetres.

▫️Make your shoulders appear smaller. It’s important that the parts of the swimsuit sitting on the shoulders are proportionate to them: straps that are too thin or semi-transparent will look unnatural against broader shoulders — so skip straps altogether or opt for ones that are wide enough.

You can always highlight or celebrate what makes your body unique this beach season with 10motifs.
