Some moments still don’t feel real…
On Wednesday 17th June, I received an email completely out of the blue: Maeve Cherry had been nominated for the Junior Style Awards 2026 – Best Accessories Brand in New York.
The winners were due to be announced on 25th July, and by 1st July, I was in full panic mode, booking flights and a hotel to New York! 😆
In the weeks before I flew, life became wonderfully chaotic. I had to create two collars for a photoshoot, make my own collar to wear to the awards and fashion event, and then, at the very last minute before my flight on the 23rd, an urgent customer order came in that simply had to be finished first.
Landing in New York, there was no time to slow down. The next morning I was up at 3am for a sunrise shoot in Brooklyn. It was the most surreal location, and I had the pleasure of working alongside incredibly talented photographers, models, and creatives. That evening ended with a magical night at The Great Gatsby on Broadway.
Then came awards day.
I wandered through the city, visited galleries, did a little shopping, and tried to soak it all in before the ceremony.
And then…

I still don’t think it’s fully sunk in. To be recognised alongside such inspiring and internationally respected brands is something I never imagined when Maeve Cherry began.
From one unexpected email to celebrating this incredible achievement in New York, it has been the most extraordinary journey.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Junior Style, to the wonderful new friends I’ve made, and to every photographer, stylist, model and influencer I’ve had the privilege of working with.
Most importantly, thank you to every single one of you who has supported Maeve Cherry. Whether you’ve followed our journey, shared our work, purchased a collar, or simply cheered us on—you’ve helped build this little brand into something truly special.
This award belongs to all of us.
