🌿Can linen be a knit fabric? Yes.
🌿We often imagine linen as a classic woven fabric. Something firmer, more structured, and familiar from shirts, dresses, or bed linen. Yet linen fiber can also be made into knit fabric, where the yarns are looped together rather than woven.
💚This is the type of linen we use in Green Rose pieces. It is 100% linen knit, made in Lithuania, with no synthetic or other added fibers.
💚Because of its knitted structure, it feels softer, drapes more freely, and moves more comfortably with the body. At the same time, it keeps the natural qualities of linen. It has a lively texture, can wrinkle, is not highly stretchy, and appreciates gentler care.
🌿So the question is not only “Is it linen?” It is also “What kind of linen is it?” Woven or knitted, blended or 100% fiber, with added materials or without.
💚Green Rose linen is 100% linen knit for those who want a natural fabric but prefer a softer, more relaxed summer garment.
