Hi everyone,
We wanted to provide a clear shipping update on several upcoming Toneplay Records releases.
Pulser Presents: Electric Music Volume 4
This release has taken significantly longer than we originally expected and we sincerely appreciate your patience.
Following previous delays we decided to trial a new pressing plant. This wasn’t without issues and we ultimately decided not to proceed with them because the service and results did not meet our high standards. As a result, the stampers had to be remade and production restarted with a different plant.
We feel strongly that quality and value are the most important things to both you and us, and we maintain high product standards for every release. If a supplier falls short of this, we will not proceed with them.
Manufacturing is now progressing again and we expect to begin shipping within the next 3–5 weeks once the finished records arrive.
Electric Music Volume 4 will also be the final Toneplay release produced entirely under our previous pre-order funding model. Our production workflow has since been adjusted so future releases move into manufacturing faster and delivery times will be significantly shorter.
We understand this delay has been frustrating. If you would prefer to cancel your Vol 4 preorder, simply email us with your order number at [email protected] and we will arrange a refund promptly.
Electric Music: Trancemissions Vol. 2
Production is moving forward and this release is currently expected to ship around 2–3 weeks later than originally planned due to pressing plant scheduling around the April Easter holidays.
We will confirm the shipping date as soon as manufacturing is finalized, but we do not expect the delay to be significant.
Toneplay Sampler EP Vol. 2
This release is currently scheduled to ship to subscribers in early April.
The full tracklist will be announced shortly.
Shipping and Delivery Notes
We have now shipped most outstanding orders and are getting closer to being able to dispatch in-stock items the same day.
If you have received tracking information but your parcel does not appear to be moving or seems stuck in transit, please contact us ([email protected]) so we can investigate. In many cases we are not aware of any issues until you notify us.
If you believe your order has not yet shipped, please also contact us and we will look into it for you.
Our shipping process still relies in part on manual input and although mistakes are rare, they can occasionally happen.
To help avoid delivery delays, please also make sure that your shipping details are correct and include a mobile/cell phone number, as all of our carriers require this to send tracking updates and delivery notifications. It is also worth checking that your Bandcamp account shipping information is up to date, as this helps us keep deliveries running smoothly.
