The sounds of a donkeys hooves gently trotted on the cobble stone path past me. It was a hot day already in Marrakech, the sun was bright and high in the
clear blue sky and the medina was just waking up. Cats basked in the sun on every corner and the smell of fresh oranges being squeezed and coffee being brewed for breakfast permeated the tiny streets. The donkey was towing a wooden cart full of old clothes from Europe, thrown away from the Europeans as they moved onto the next seasons fashions. Ahmed, who collected the clothes was taking them to the second hand market and had asked me to come and help him. I was 6 years old and this was the start of a lifelong passion. When I opened the bags of old clothes, I did not see things to be thrown away, I saw colour, different materials, crazy styles, clothes I could get my mum to fix and make fit me. Over the years, I scoured the second hand markets to find unique clothes to create my unique style. Throughout my youth I was photographed by many street style publications and fashion trend watchers from around the globe. Fast forward 25 years and I am now living in the UK, I am still obsessed about clothing, searching the vintage markets in Marrakech to find individual, unique and beautiful clothes and I specialise in vintage shirts for men. For women, I have an extensive range of handmade and unique leather bags. I personally choose every bag and ensure the leather and workmanship is of the highest quality. For your home, I have a small range of beautiful accessories from leather pouffes to Beni Ourain rugs. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to share my finds with you.
