Kimi Antonelli may have secured a historic victory at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix, becoming the youngest driver to win the iconic street race for Mercedes, but Lebanese fashion won twice today.

Princess Charlene wore an Elie Saab white double georgette jumpsuit. It’s based on a design from Fall 2025/2026 collection. What struck me is that it’s quite similar to the red Louis Vuitton dress HSH wore just two days earlier.

For jewellery, the Princess of Monaco turned to her new favourite jeweller, Tabbah. Both the necklace and bangle are made of gold and diamonds and they come from the Beirut-based jeweller’s Aquatica collection. This collection was released in 2019, but I believe Charlene acquired her pieces a bit more recently.

This the first time a princess wears a full look by Lebanese designers to this global event.

Did this feel fresh or did you find it too similar to her red LV look?

Today marks 32 years since Princess Faiza passed away in exile alone. To celebrate her life, let’s look at these glamorous photos of her that have not been seen in over 70 years.

I finally found the dress Princess Charlene wore to the practice session of the Formula 1 Grand Prix today!

Her dress comes from Louis Vuitton’s nautical collection in blue. Princess Charlene’s red may be custom for the Grand Prix. It’s made of a knitted cotton blend and is pleated throughout. The full-length dress has a crossover neckline and originally comes with a twisted belt.

Princess Charlene switched the belt for the S-Lock belt, also custom in rouge. She paired her outfit with the Ascent 85 slingbacks from Gianvito Rossi.

Princess Charlene is looking stunning tonight at the Formula 1 Grand Prix reception at the Oceanographic Museum.

I love this green satin jumpsuit from on her. She is also wearing new earrings, I’ll try to find them when we get better photos.

Now this is the Princess of Monaco I’m used to, sleek, modern, and dazzling!

Do you love this jumpsuit as much as I do?

Yesterday, the Princely Couple attended the Corpus Christi mass and watched the procession from the balcony of the Palais Princier.

Princess Charlene wore yet another floral dress, this time from Monique Lhuillier. I’m not going to complain about it being too safe, because I like the simple print and the gathered neckline.

Do you like this sleeve length on HSH?

I was quite disappointed with the blue Oscar de la Renta dress Princess Charlene wore to the garden visit with the king and queen of Spain. And to be perfectly honest, I’m rather ambivalent about the tradwife aesthetic she’s been favouring lately.

This, however, is a cute dress from Christian Dior. She wore it for a tour of IE University in Madrid. The dress is made of silk and the shape of the skirt fits HSH well. The bow at the neckline is a nice touch. I can’t help but miss her ultra modern, experimental era.

One of Queen Farida’s paintings is up for sale at Olympia Auctions. Her work is rarely ever offered, so this sale is quite significant. Judging by another artwork that was sold a few years ago, I believe this was painted around 1971.

The Modern & Contemporary African and Middle Eastern Art auction has some very interesting artworks from Egypt, some are from the Zulficar Family Collection, to which the Queen belongs. I pulled some of the ones that caught my eye in this post.

It is no surprise that these paintings are appearing in London, since it’s the strongest market of the West for collecting art from the MENA region. Olympia Auctions often offers works by established and emerging artists, catering to seasoned and new collectors alike.

Would you buy this painting?

It’s Mother’s Day in Monaco and the Palace is marking the occasion with a new portrait of Princess Charlene with Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.

Princess Charlene typically visits the maternity wing the Princess Grace Hospital every year. I will post if she does. In the meantime, cute photo. No?

When the Beverly Hilton opened in 1955, Queen Nazli and her daughter, Princess Fathia were among the most illustrious attendees. Queen Nazli was wearing a necklace that French jeweller Mauboussin made for her in 1939.

A wealthy woman in her own right prior to becoming queen, Queen Nazli had a sizeable jewellery collection. And the wedding of her daughter, Princess Fawzia, to the Crown Prince of Iran was just another reason for her to indulge her magpie tendencies.

In 1938, Mauboussin produced a sketch for a tiara for the Queen (slide 3) and another sketch of how the big stones can be transformed and worn as a necklace (slide 4). However, it seems that the maison did not get the commission, as Van Cleef and Arpels made the Queen Mother her famous parure.

It’s unclear if this demi-parure, consisting of a necklace and matching ear clips, made of diamonds and cabochon rubies (slide 5), was made especially for the Queen or if it was a stock piece. In any case it went home with her. Although it is quite imposing, Queen Nazli did not wear the parure often. In fact, this photo in slide 1 is the only occasion we have of her wearing the necklace, and we don’t have any photos of her wearing the earrings.

The parure was auctioned off along with the rest of the Queen Mother’s jewellery in the 1970s. The photo in slide 6 is from the sale preview. Unfortunately we don’t know where the necklace and earrings are now. But a piece of Queen Nazli’s jewellery pops up every few years at an auction. In 2014, another ruby necklace of hers, made by Gaucherand, was auctioned off by Sotheby’s, fetching over $117,000.

Today, Her Highness Sheikha Moza of Qatar visited the Qatar Environment and Energy Institute (QEERI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

Fun fact, I used to go to this building every single day for almost two years. It’s quite sentimental seeing HH walking through the same corridors. QEERI is undertaking groundbreaking research in energy, water, and environment through its five centres.

For her visit, Sheikha Moza turned to local brand Lin. She chose the Florine abaya in grey. It features delicate floral detailing blended with subtle vertical stripes for an elegant textured look. This is Sheikha’s second time wearing the brand in one week. She paired it with her croc Diorissimo bag.⁩
