The idea behind this venture has been on the cards since I got pregnant with my son and wanted products that were a little different to the norm or practical for a working mum. Many of the brands we represent are brands I actually used and fell in love with when I had Max, others are there because of some unique

feature we simply thought was wow! From incredibly lightweight or compact buggies perfect for our pavements, tight boot space or those parents with an insatiable travel bug! To colourful muslins, lightweight sleeping bags for warmer climates and more....

Myth: a nursery only needs a cot and a changing table. In practice, it’s the organising pieces that actually keep the room functional at 3am 😵‍💫

A caddy by the changing table means you’re never mid-change realising the wipes are across the room. And a proper chest of drawers, with organizers in the drawers, work better than open shelving, by keeping everything from bibs to sleep bags sorted instead of buried in one overflowing basket.

An additional plus - the Ubbi Nappy Bin - which earns its keep fast — it seals in odour properly, which matters more than almost anything else in a small room

None of this is glamorous. All of it is the difference between a nursery that works and one that just looks nice in photos.

Whose skincare are you actually shopping for this week — the 6-year-old or the 12-year-old? Because it's not the same routine, and we stock both 🌟

Lav Kids is for the younger ones — tear-free, fragrance-light, made for skin that's still finding its feet, roughly ages 5 to 12. Lav Teens is a different formula entirely, built for the oilier skin and scalp changes that tend to show up as kids head into the older end of primary and into secondary school — cleansers and shampoos that actually manage grease without stripping everything else out.

After a summer of sun, sea, and chlorine, September is a fair time to reset both.

If you're a people's person and have a passion for sales and all things cute, we want to meet you!⁠

- Able to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends
- A team-player, someone with an eye for detail, and energy in abundance
- Organised, proactive and with a high sense of responsibility
- Takes immense pride in their work, and able to able to offer consistent quality standard of work and customer service
- Computer literate and possesses a strong professional work ethic
- Committed and excited to grow together with the rest of our team.

Retail and Customer Care experience is a plus, but not necessary. ⁠Experience with children is also an asset.

A hosepipe and a very determined toddler in a swimsuit is still one of the best ways to get through a hot afternoon here — a bit of water, a patch of grass, and they're entertained for ages 🌞

And when lunchtime rolls around, there's no need to call them in and dry them off first. Little Dutch's plastic table and chairs set is sized for actual toddlers, and it hoses down in seconds afterwards — so lunch in a wet swimsuit is genuinely fine.

Not every household here has a school-age kid this September — but plenty of you are gearing up for something almost as big: the first proper week of daycare 🩷

If that's you, here's what actually helps in that first stretch. A comfort item that smells like home — a soft toy tucked into the bag works well for this. A spare set of clothes in a wet bag for the inevitable accident. A bottle or sippy cup labelled clearly enough that it comes home with the right child, not someone else's.

Just a little something that makes the handover at the door a little easier — for both of you.

How many bottles did you go through before you found 'the one'? 👩‍🍼

For us, the Little Dutch x Mepal Mio bottles are one of the most reliable recommendations we make on this front. The anti-colic valve keeps air away from baby's tummy while feeding, which matters more than most people realise. Everything's dishwasher and microwave safe, and the teats come in three flow speeds — slow from birth, medium from around 3 months, fast from 6 months — so the bottle actually grows with your baby instead of you guessing.

It's still 6:45am and somehow the backpack's missing, the lunch bag's got last week's banana still in it, and nobody can find a single matching sock...sounds familiar? 😅
