Back in July, I had the pleasure of designing, creating and sewing these outfits for the Sezzjoni Żgħażagħ Karmelitani Beltin for the Morning March in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta.

Just a month ago, I had the opportunity to design, create and sew these custom vests and two pairs of shorts for the Sezzjoni Żgħażagħ Karmelitani Beltin, for the Morning March in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta. 💙💛

It was a pleasure bringing the idea and design to life, and even more special to see the final outfits being worn during such an important celebration.

✨️From an idea to the stage ✨

Back in February, I had the opportunity to create this custom black and gold metallic lycra jumpsuit for the incredibly talented Ela Sansone as she competed ans still competing both locally and internationally.

Starting from Ela's vision and ideas, I brought the design to life while ensuring it reflected her character and personal style. The concept behind the costume was to stay true to who she is while embodying strength, elegance, and confidence, creating a look that empowered her every time she stepped onto the stage.

Throughout the process, it was important to keep in mind that the design had to enhance the dancer's movements, allowing every leap, turn, and pose to flow effortlessly.

It was an honour to see this costume come to life through Ela's performances. Thank you, Ela and her parents, for trusting me with this special project, and I wish you continued success in every competition ahead. 🤍✨

🎤✨ The back view reveals a playful and meaningful detail, featuring a bold envelope with the word “Dear…”, symbolising the opening of the Mamma Mia! story, where Sophie sends out the letters inviting her three potential fathers to her wedding. Set against the piano-inspired skirt and surrounded by vibrant musical notes, this element adds a narrative touch that connects directly to the heart of the musical.🎤✨

🎤✨On Monday as we celebrated our creator’s birthday, Enya Curmi, who brings passion to dancing, choreography, and the creation of all these costumes, wearing each piece with pride.✨🎤

🎤🎶🎵 Here is the final and 6th costume, inspired by the ABBA musical and movie, showcasing the crown of the Dancing Queen. The design features iconic 70s elements with frills and bell bottoms, combined with the piano, music sheets, and notes that symbolise the ABBA group and their instruments — bringing the whole concept together in one vibrant carnival statement 🎵🎶🎤

The structure of the skirt is inspired by a royal coronation crown, reimagined by incorporating the outer shape of the crown as a bold guitar, blending musical identity with regal symbolism. This reflects ABBA’s iconic sound while drawing inspiration from Dancing Queen👑. The vibrant blue and yellow tones represent the Swedish flag, while the overall design captures the essence of the 70s era through its bold shapes and expressive style✨🎤
