“The Fashion Journey”

It all started in 2016, like a scene from a movie trailer, when I bought my first Kingster 8700 industrial machine. Back then, I was obsessed with tailor-made attire—spending hours sourcing fabrics and dreaming of unique designs. Every morning, I woke up eager to plug in the machine, testing and retesting, driven by pure passion.

I still remember my first attire—it took me the whole night until dawn to finish. It felt like slavery, but it was a labor of love that marked the beginning of something bigger.

By 2021, that passion had grown stronger. I searched for a fashion school but found none—until I met a former colleague deeply rooted in fashion. She welcomed me into her fashion house in Chileka, where I trained alongside two others. Two months of intense learning taught me the language of fashion, machine mastery, and pattern drafting. Armhole curving was my toughest challenge, but consistency turned obstacles into victories.

Today, that journey has shaped me into a true fashionista—blending creativity, craftsmanship, and resilience. What began as a fascination is now a lifestyle, a brand, and a statement: Fashion is not just worn—it’s lived.

But this story is not just about me. My ultimate vision is to make an impact on the community—to one day offer free practical fashion training to youth, helping them unlock their potential and master the art of design.
