Making custom made bras are most difficult and rewarding at the same time.
My students always say "I never knew that making this (bra's) required so much work" and from then on they gain a new perspective and a new respect for this type of garment.

It truly does require much engineering, imagination, creativity and ability to be able to assemble this beauty.

A year ago I started to struggle for the very first time with anxiety attacks, something I never thought would ever happen to me...

I almost made it to a year with only psychological therapy, no meds and I thought I had it under control at last but then, something unexpected happened and I snapped again, worse than before, I tried so hard to keep it under control again for a whole month but couldn't. This time, I had to seek psychiatric help.
I'm medicated now and its helped me immensely; I'm so greatful that this type of medication exists and have a new and profound respect for all the people that keep showing up everyday for themselves and their families. It's not easy, the journey can feel like a lifetime.

With medication, I'm able to get back to the craft that I love so much, I thought I didn't like it anymore, but it was my anxiety making me feel that way. I love crafts, I love creating, I love teaching and I love everything about making clothes. I still find it beautiful and fulfilling.

Thank you anxiety, for taking me out of places where I probably didn't want to be but also, f-u for making me feel horrible and fearful, I hope I never get to experience you again.
