One of my favorite things about diving is realizing how much there still is to discover.

After hundreds of dives, I'd still never seen a seahorse! Then, thanks to Roatan's resident "Seahorse Whisperer," (& a lil manifesting on my part 😉✨) we found six in a single trip, each one in varying colors, beautifully camouflaged against the reef.

They're easy to miss and that's exactly the point! 🦄

Some dives leave more than just bubbles 🫧 🌊

Coral restoration is one small but meaningful way divers can give back to the ecosystems that give us so much. Every fragment planted today has the potential to become part of a thriving reef for years to come.

Here's to more adventures that leave the ocean just a little better than we found it 🪸

Thank you, Roxana! 💙

Oh hello!

Feeling seen 🐙

Octopuses are known for their remarkable intelligence. They're capable of problem-solving, recognizing individual humans, and displaying distinct personalities of their own.

Somehow we still have a few of these beauties left in stock!

More of a minimalist? I pair my suit with pewter leggings underneath & still manage to feel iconic 🐳🦈🤭

Today we're celebrating 🌎🌊

The ocean’s majesty isn’t just found in the large and iconic, it lives in the tiny, intricate details too.

Like the flamingo tongue snail, a small reef dweller whose vibrant pattern is actually part of its living mantle, not its shell.

This snail may be small, but it’s part of something much bigger. Healthy oceans depend on biodiversity and every creature plays a role in keeping reef ecosystems alive and in balance.

Happy World Oceans Day! 💙

BLACK CORALS

Any type of coral always catches my eye, but this was a new one for me!

Tucked beneath deeper ledges and inside swim-throughs in Roatán, I kept spotting intricate, almost bush-like green sea fans, so naturally I had to dive a bit deeper. Turns out, they were grey sea fan black coral, more specifically Antipathes atlantica.

Despite the name, they don’t appear black at all. Their living polyps give off soft greenish-grey hues, while the black comes from the skeleton hidden beneath.

They thrive in deeper, low-light reef zones, forming delicate, net-like fans and often relying on crevices for protection.

The ocean never ceases to amaze me, always drawing me in to look a little closer.
