The World Cup kicks off today and we have feelings about teams.
Ours spans the whole map.
Colombia. Nicaragua. USA. México. Philippines. Portugal.
And every pair of hands in between that takes a MESSAGE slide from concept to cork to your front door.
Different places. Same obsession.
Building something we love, with people we love, for a product that keeps selling out (!) and we’re not taking any of it for granted.
Building a brand is a team sport. Turns out we got really lucky with ours.

The people who show up, do the work, say the hard thing, try the idea, fix it, try again. The ones who give a genuine f about what we’re building and bring their whole selves to it. The team that sees each other. Really sees each other.
And then there’s you. The community who gets it, lives in it, shares it, wears it into every corner of your life and makes it mean something we couldn’t have planned for.
This is what it’s actually about. Not the product. The people.

Cork appreciation post because not enough people know this story and honestly we can’t shut up about it.

Carbon negative. Vegan. Gets better with age. Harvested from living trees without cutting them down. Seven upcycled wine corks per slide, the ones the wine industry didn’t want, handed to artisans in Portugal and turned into the barecork™ footbed under your feet.
Their loss. Your gain.
Cork is the real MVP.
