May 2018. A collection of moments that would change my life forever. A city that I had never visited would become the touchstone of my soul. People that were total strangers would become part of my heartbeat. Girls that I would have never met would become part of my daily thoughts, my dreams and my life.
I am forever grateful and indebted to the people who believed in my ability to love and heart to give without question.

I’ve been home from Mexico for a few days but my mind won’t stop thinking about what’s next. These are the streets that I prayed over. 3000+ s*x workers fill this small 1/2 mile square city block. These streets are congested, they’re loud and dangerous. But as I was praying I could visually see and tangibly feel the promises that God has for them. These streets are going to be filled with joy and peace and laughter.
People will ask me, why Mexico? Because once that door was opened, I ran through with my whole heart. I expect many doors to be opened, this is just a starting point. Give me your abused, lost and broken. I was made for this. I have a lot of love to give. Because ultimately at the end of the day, I want to be able to say that I loved all people well.

Truth be told, most days I’m like what am I even doing. My internal dialogue says:

*you need to hire more girls
*be there in (MX) for them
*you need to find a way to sell more to hire more girls
*you’re not doing enough
*how do I make a dent in an industry that is 150 billion dollar industry

As I was talking to my friend Nicole I was reminded that Red Moon Weaving wasn’t my idea. God spoke to me saying, “Do you think I would give you this idea and then let it fail? Natalee you’re not in control of it’s destiny, I am, take yourself out of leading and let me lead. Follow the whispers I give to you. Follow my voice and the place I am taking you and there you will find what your heart wants for the girls and for the girls yet to be free”.

Some days (most days) I feel a bit lost in all I see and hear but I will forever follow the whispers and little reminders that God drops in my spirit of remembering my WHY.

These are the days to get lost in the whispers and watch what happens.
