Today, Puerto Vallarta experienced one of its most beautiful and meaningful traditions — Palm Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church ⛪🌿

Also known as Domingo de Ramos, this celebration marks the beginning of Holy Week in Mexico, commemorating the arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem, where palm branches symbolized peace and faith.
In the heart of Puerto Vallarta, locals and visitors gathered with handcrafted palm leaves, crosses, and woven designs to be blessed during Mass. The streets around the church filled with tradition, culture, and a deep sense of community.

✨ From peaceful processions to the sound of church bells echoing through downtown, today was a reminder that Puerto Vallarta is more than a beach destination — it’s a place rich in culture, history, and authentic Mexican traditions.

Puerto Vallarta Under Attack 🔥

Explosions and smoke are being reported throughout the Romantic Zone. Currently, there are more than seven fires burning across one of the city’s most important areas, due to a protest following the arrest of an individual. Firefighters are responding to the scene, and police are blocking strategic points to prevent crowds from gathering. It is recommended to avoid the area at this time
