2016 capsule ⏳
It started with a simple question: What if your clothes could breathe like a living thing?
Back in 2016, we were deep in the lab developing a soft robotic jacket. The concept was rooted in biomimicry—inspired by the stomata in plant leaves. We designed vents that would autonomously open and close, adapting thermal protection in real-time to the user’s body heat.
It was ambitious. Maybe a little too ambitious for where we were at the time. We were young, inexperienced, and the tech was incredibly complex to mass-produce. We couldn’t raise the funds to cross the finish line, so we had to hit pause.
But good ideas don’t disappear; they just wait for the right time. We put this project on the shelf, but we haven’t locked the door.
One day, we might just bring this back to life. 🌿🤖
