Dear Sula Supporters and Dog Lovers Worldwide

You might have seen news this morning about explosions, fires and unrest in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Know that we are safe. We are sheltering in place. We are committed to our mission to continue rescue dogs of Banderas Bay and support the Mexican people we call friends.

Please think of us, our workers, volunteers, and dogs we care for. Bridge close to the shelter has been blown up. Amid chaos Alun drove to the shelter to bring food and pick up volunteers. He had his car and phone stolen at the gun point. They made it home safe.

P.S. The car taken at gun point was our only car to use for food runs, and anything needed picking up and delivering for the shelter and our rescue dogs. 😟
