The Temple Dress, now available in a new terracotta earth color!

The new color way reflects the stunning landscapes and earthy tones of Mexico. Imagine strolling through vibrant markets and historic streets, draped in this beautiful dress that tells a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and the beauty of a culture that is as rich as it is colorful.

The romantic atmosphere of Mexico’s small towns is captured in every detail, from the intricate dress patterns to the delicate tassel earrings. These towns, full of culture, colors, and tradition, inspire every piece we create.

Nakawé or Takutsi Na-ka-wé (phonetically) is a word from the Wixarika language. It means “grandmother growth” or “goddess of creation and fertility” 🌱🪷

We chose this name as our intention was to curate a collection of products that were of this earth and the people. Products that would carry the stories and the culture of the people that made them. Products that are made from sustainable materials and handmade in small batches.

This project, created predominantly by women for women, fills us with immense pride. We are honored to support so many women in pursuing their dreams. To all the incredible women who have been the seeds, the roots, the water, and the loving hands nurturing this project – we are eternally grateful. Gracias amores. 🌼💗🙌🏽

A special thanks to Señora Viviana for welcoming us into her beautiful workshop in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca. We are so honored to collaborate with her and to introduce our new beeswax clay candles. Viviana has been a leading figure in preserving traditional crafts in Mexico. Follow the link to learn more about supporting her lifelong dedication to the arts. It’s truly an honor to be in her presence and hear her stories. 🫶🏽🤲🏽
