SUNRISE Collection is the beginning of a collaboration between two sustainable projects:
Laguna Collective + Bubouxi
Both passionate about a responsible approach to slow fashion by using natural elements to create unique garments. From where the cotton has grown, to the natural dyes we use.

The Laguna Collective brand was born in Tulum and formed through collaboration with indigenous artisan women from different parts of Mexico. We seek to generate a positive impact through direct trade and create a synergy between indigenous communities and our team.
Each piece is unique. Laguna Collective's high-quality products are made with organic materials and traditional techniques such as embroidery or crochet, all lovingly made by hand. The brand aesthetic is in the simplicity of silhouettes, designed to withstand the tests of time, trend, or season.
Going beyond designing, Laguna Collective launched Collectivo Sagrado, an open art studio with workshops centered around traditional techniques. Each week, we open our doors and invite you to step into our world. Explore how to create pottery with your own hands, the traditional practice of backstrap weaving, and more. Through teaching these techniques, Laguna Collective aims to explore, preserve, and empower.
When you attend a Laguna Collective workshop, you are not only learning a new skill. You are helping us preserve the culture of our artisans and keeping their traditions alive.
When you buy a Laguna Collective piece, you are not just buying a beautiful piece of clothing that will last you a lifetime. You are providing a sustainable livelihood for the indigenous artisan women in Mexico.
