IK didn’t happen by accident.

It started with a clear intention: to create something more conscious, more intentional, and more aligned with the kind of impact I wanted to make.

I spent a long time researching, testing, and looking for the right materials and suppliers — not just anything, but something that truly felt right.

There was a moment when IK paused…
but not everything that pauses disappears.

Sometimes it evolves, it refines, it becomes clearer.

And coming back to it now feels even more intentional.

Still learning.
Still growing.
Creating and redefining ✨

And yes… it happens.

Some brands choose to destroy perfectly new products
instead of donating them or selling them at a lower price.

All to maximize profit
and protect a sense of exclusivity.

This made me reflect again on the way we consume
and the way many brands operate.

Every decision matters.

I watched this documentary and something has stayed on my mind ever since:

“When we throw it away… we don’t actually throw it away.”

“Away” doesn’t exist.

I’ve always thought about this…
as if throwing something in the trash were the solution to everything.
As if not seeing it meant it no longer exists.

But it does.

It just ends up somewhere else on this same planet.

And I think this is where something important begins:
the first step toward change is information,
then comes reflection…
and of course, taking action to make it possible.

What I liked about this documentary is that it doesn’t aim to overwhelm us,
but to remind us that there is still so much we can do.
