Each product that are develop and created in this world have it disadvantages and cons includes Eco Hankie as it also has a weakness that unavoidable.

1. Once used, especially for nose blowing with colds or flu, not only do you have to wash them relatively quickly in hot water, you have to have plenty of clean hankies in reserve. Otherwise, your used hankie harbours germs, especially if stuffed in your pocket or sleeve, which could infect others if they accidently come in contact with it.

2. With that in mind, and although I keep my tissue usage to a minimum, in the event of having a cold or serious virus, I usually find it best to use a balance of clean hankies and BPA-free recycled tissues, not those made from wood pulp and bleached with chemicals. And in terms of wisely disposing of those used tissues, there are some different theories on composting them. However, a Bokashi bin seems to be the most popular.

3. Some believe that after washing and drying hankies, the heat from ironing kills off anything else that might be lurking around. What’s more, ironing, which is my least favourite domestic activity, gives handkerchiefs a neat appearance, especially since they look lined and wrinkly once dried.

Even though it has a few disadvantages, Eco-Hankie will develop and improve the quality more in the future.

It is eco-friendly because when someone buys the handkerchief, they will use fewer tissues or did not use tissues at all

Using handkerchief is way better than tissues if it is use correctly. It is not surprising to see more people using handkerchief as it easier and practical. Some people use handkerchief explained in survey from Eco-Hankie that using handkerchief are proven easier and hygiene as long as you wash it thoroughly after use it.

• Handkerchiefs are washable, reusable and more durable, hence being more economical and environmentally friendly, unlike tissues, which, as we know, are intended for single-use. It’s thought that Australians use about 273,000 tons of tissue products annually.

• As handkerchiefs are made from softer fabric, like cotton, they are kinder on the skin, especially on the inside of the nostrils where it’s more delicate. That means hankies won’t be as abrasive as tissues are when you have colds or flu.

• Hankies can reduce the ick factor. Given their size and durability, they minimize snotty overflow.

• While they don’t have to be particularly fancy, there are various styles and prints available, especially artistic/designer patterns. In many ways, hankies can be used as a stylish accessory.

• Unlike tissues that accidently get left in clothing, hankies don’t leave annoying white flakes that have been strewn through the wash.

It is a happy news for me when I woke up in this morning and find out more people follow our business page. It is a great achievement for a small business like Eco Hankie. Using the Eco Hankie product to wipe my tears and stuffy nose now I can confidently ensure you guys that this materials use is soft and thin. It dries quickly and absorbs well.

A 2012 study by environmental consultants Ecosystem Analytics found that the CO2 emissions and pollution produced during the manufacture of a cotton handkerchief outweighed any savings over its lifetime compared to disposable tissues, even if you kept the same hanky for nine years.

First off, handkerchiefs are less hygienic than single-use tissues. When you blow your nose in a handkerchief, you’re providing a fresh influx of snot to any germs already there. If these germs are viruses, the protein in your snot can help protect them from drying out; if they’re bacteria, the extra moisture can help them to grow.

When you next use your handkerchief, any germs that survived from the previous use are transferred back to your hands, which will contaminate the next door handle you touch. You can do a lot to limit this spread by washing your hands every time you blow your nose, but this isn’t always practical.

Don’t use your handkerchief for 3 years straight, you need to change it❌

Everyone knows what is handkerchief but almost none know about the origin of handkerchief.

Before people used the word handkerchief, the word kerchief alone was common. This term came from two French words: couvrir, which means “to cover” and chef, which means “head”.In the times of ancient Greece and Rome, handkerchiefs were often used the way they are today. But in the Middle Ages, kerchiefs were usually used to cover the head.

Then in the 16th century, people in Europe began to carry kerchiefs in their pockets to wipe their foreheads or their noses. To distinguish this kind of kerchief from the one used to cover the head, the word "hand" was added to "kerchief".

1. When it comes to handkerchief thickness, it’s really a question of taste. Some like them ultra thin, some like them rather thick. Eco-Hankie offer you thin for your comfortable travelling.

2. Handkerchiefs are made with the cotton materials because pure cotton can easily absorb moisture. Apart from that, cotton is soft, non-allergic, and good for your skin. But polyester is made from the recycled synthetic material and they are not good for skin 🌟
