Black cherry is back. A deep dark burgundy rayon linen that sits somewhere between black, chocolate brown and burgundy — with a rich warm undertone that comes through beautifully in the light. It sold out with my supplier before I could do anything with it last year, so when it came back I didn't hesitate. Today it's available in two of our pull-on trouser styles — the Bella joggers and the Pepper wide leg. Our colour palette is starting to warm up — and today we've added a new shade to our Quiet Classics collection. Dusty rose is a colour I've traditionally steered away from, but this particular tone sits beautifully between a traditional blush pink and the richer colours I love to work with. Soft, warm and feminine, with enough depth to suit any complexion. I've been working on something really exciting for the last six months and I'm finally ready to share it. Maya Prass will be available to shop at The Space retail boutiques from high summer 2026 — starting in Rosebank, with plans to roll out nationally thereafter. A boutique owner once told me she couldn't sell my work as an investment piece because striking prints and colours can only really be worn once — after that, everyone's seen it.
At the time it floored me. Today I'd push back hard.
Versatility doesn't mean anonymous. It means pieces you love wearing and can envision yourself in across different seasons and moods. Building a core wardrobe doesn't mean dressing in neutrals. It means dressing in things that are deeply yours.
Nobody remembers how many times you've worn something. They remember every time you looked magnificent wearing something you love.

We had a Ryleigh jacket in marigold going out to a customer today, so I thought I'd show you some of the details up close before it left.
The raw seam finish, the antique brass zip, and what it actually looks like on a size 40 body — with enough room to layer a jersey underneath.
A lot of people are hesitant about yellow, but marigold is one of those tones that sits closer to ochre — it works with neutrals and holds its own against bold colour just as well.
I'd recommend trying one.
