I'll be honest — polyester is not usually my first choice of fabric. But suede scuba is different.

The density gives garments real structure, which is why it works so well for the Ryleigh jacket. But where there's movement and drape, like on the Stella cardigan, it falls beautifully.

It insulates without overheating, and the softness against the skin makes it genuinely comfortable to wear all day. It's actually perfect for winter.

I own both a Ryleigh and a Stella in this fabric, and I love wearing-that tells you everything.

This week Marigold has been on the cutting table, and it's one of my favourites because it looks bright but it wears like a classic colour- perfect with neutrals and brights. It was my favourite winter jacket until I lost it some time back. I'm excited to own a new one soon.
