As we all know, Eid al Adha is the commemoration of Sunnah(tradition) of our great patriarch Hazrat Ibrahim(as) who willed to sacrifice his beloved son on the command of Allah swt.
There is an inherent lesson in this commemoration of willingness to sacrifice things dear or beloved to us in the pah of Allah swt.
If we are unaware or unwilling to make this sacrifice in our lives, mere ritual of sacrificing an animal will be meaningless.
May Allah swt accept our endeavours and our prayers to achieve success in this world and the hereafter and as a result of our struggles(jihad) in this path our society, nation and humanity at large see a better tomorrow.
