Inspired by 70's local surf punk culture in Calofornia.

Over-simplifying what a local is here We think.

A local isnt just someone who lives near a surfspot (ask the bra boys if Im a maroubra local...) but someone who surfs a particular spot with a regular crew and has risen through the ranks of kook, grom, etc etc, to be one of the 'respected' regulars. However, Localism raises when the crowds begin to ruin the spot for those who have been enjoying it and respecting it for generations. The locals will come together to make the spot hard for outsiders to surf.(ie: water tactics, waxing cars, rocks from cliff, tire slashing, fights) ‘I have seen all of this and surfed amongst it. If you do not respect the locals who are surfing in a spot you are asking for trouble. Our area in its hay day there were some lifetime bans imposed on locals who beat up surfers. These bans lessened the vigor of the locals, who wants to get banned from their beach. It is much less here than it was in the 70's 80's, but you can find it anywhere.’

Due to high demand we have restocked this design. Salty Sandy Feet started this design early 2012. Tshirt above shows our OG signature tee. Our font design were inspired by Bra Boys tattoo 'Mybrotherskeeper' on their chest. Bra boys is a big surfing community (beach tribes) based in Maroubra, an eastern suburb of Sydney, New South Wales. Their surf culture amaze us of North Borneo surfers.
On top of it all,its them who transpire the idea
to create our own clothing line for the people of north borneo. It was an awesome journey for us. Surfing is more than just a sport, thus, it is a lifestyle and an art-form synonymous with freedom and creative self-expression. Lets all borneans keep our localism high presenting us our very own Salty Sandy Feet with the high spirit of borneans!

If you guys wanna cop this tee do come to our pop up booth this saturday and sunday at Riverson, the Walk from 10am - 6pm.

Salty Sandy Feet Surf Co. were thrilled to be part of this year's the 3rd BORNEO 4WD & OUTDOOR SHOW held at DBKK car park on the 3rd & 4th June 2017 organized by Sabah Land Rover Club.
Thank you to our customers, family, team and .boardriders without their support we wouldn't be here so thank you again.
We would also like to thank Sabah Land Rover Club for such an amazing event!
We were always amazed to be part of outdoor exhibition like this because it is a showcase of local creativity and talent.
