TIPS ON BETTER CARE FOR YOUR HAIR

Here are more tips to improve hair condition and reduce frizz:

1) Do not use shampoo often - Washing the hair too much can dry it out, making it frizzy and unmanageable. Use dry shampoo if you feel uncomfortable with oily hair

2) Reduce heat - Heat and frizz go together. Wash and rinse your hair in cool or warm water

3) This applies to hair styling - Do not use the highest settings on your styling tools. Always protect your hair with an anti-frizz cream or conditioner before styling or drying the hair

4) Protect hair from humidity - Do not wear a head covering for too long when the hair is still wet or damp. When humidity is high, covering your hair can make it difficult for the hair to absorb moisture from the air

5) De-frizz without eliminating exercise - If you have frizzy hair, working out can ruin your coif fast. Cover your hair with a baseball cap or bandana while participating in sports, both indoors and out, and while swimming

6) Make hair care a priority - Using hair masks and products designed to reduce frizz can help maintain a sleek look, no matter what the weather or activity
