Our premium “sigar” (headgear) made of woven songket is known as a luxury headgear worn traditionally by the Lun Bawangs, especially in the early days when one need to visit the Sultan of Brunei. There are also believed to have exchanged and presented with these sigar songket; thus some of the locals do prefer this set as a luxury piece.

Too good not to share….some maybe wondering where to get these signature motif “ARIT LINAWA” (a Lun Bawang motif) with partial embroidery finishing work…….DM us jerrr, no calls will be entertained for safety reason.

We have two colors for now due to availability of suitable fabrics……..bright yellow and white. It took us over a period of few years (plus the pandemic years) to improve our skills. KELUPIT as called by the Lun Bawang community. This is a rattan woven flat basket with an additional rattan stringed across the basket for decoration to enhance its quality. Its hanged at the back with fabric strap when going hunting or shopping. Usually used by men ya.

KELUPIT is the common name for this weaved rottan flat basket used by our man hunters when on his jungle spree…... hunting or farming. This is normally tied with cloth straps and hung on to his back. (If you scroll further down you may see a well decorated version; which is ready to use. We will share again of our next completed kelupit). This is the raw version of our “kelupit” and its available at our store, ready for decoration as part of its enhancement and for sale.
