Shaw Brothers juga terlibat dalam produksi beberapa film yang berhubungan dengan Malaysia atau Malaya (sebelum pembentukan Malaysia pada tahun 1963). Mereka menghasilkan beberapa film dengan latar belakang budaya dan lingkungan Malaya. Beberapa di antaranya termasuk:

"Empat Saudara" (Four Brothers): Film ini dirilis pada tahun 1942 dan merupakan salah satu film awal yang diproduksi oleh Shaw Brothers dengan latar belakang Malaya. Film ini mengisahkan tentang empat saudara yang berjuang untuk bertahan hidup dalam konteks yang sulit selama Perang Dunia II.

"Bujang Lapok" Series: Shaw Brothers juga memproduksi serangkaian film komedi populer yang dikenal sebagai "Bujang Lapok" yang dibintangi oleh P. Ramlee, seorang aktor dan sutradara terkenal dari Malaya. Meskipun P. Ramlee bukanlah bagian dari Shaw Brothers, film-film ini bekerja sama dengan perusahaan produksi tersebut. Many people are puzzled by a question: Are there still people looking for cassette tapes? Have the machines become obsolete? This question happens to be crucial for my livelihood running a second-hand shop, where I mainly deal with CDs and cassette tapes.

Although the number of people buying cassette tapes has decreased nowadays, it doesn't mean that there's no demand at all. What used to be a mass market for cassette consumption has now transformed into a hobby for a minority.

Additionally, my sources of cassette tape supply are relatively limited, so the supply and demand are still relatively balanced.

I am carefully sorting through a batch of English books that were delivered over the weekend. However, as I flip through the pages one by one, I discovered and be surprised to find that more than ten of them are closely related to birds.

This inevitably leads me to think that the owner of these books must be a passionate and enthusiastic bird-watcher.

Perhaps, each book they've chosen is like piecing together a vibrant avian atlas, bringing together winged creatures from around the world in this cozy corner.

Starting from 2017, I ventured into the second-hand industry, and I remember selling the first CD around that time.

Subsequently, there were some sales, but the quantity wasn't substantial, perhaps only a few dozen each year, until it gradually increased to a few hundred.

It wasn't until March 2020, when the first wave of the pandemic hit and movement restrictions were imposed, that we truly began focusing on selling CDs and cassette tapes.

Now, through both physical stores and online platforms, our average monthly sales have exceeded 500 CDs/cassette tapes.
