美國著名的商業攝影師 Joe McNally 採訪了美國芭蕾劇院當家女伶 Palome Herrera ，並拍攝了一系列的舞姿照片。在採訪結束後， McNally 還剩下了幾張底片，於是他做了個大膽的要求：希望 Herrera 能脫下她的舞鞋，讓他拍攝她的裸足。這個要求讓 Herrera 十分不悅，但基於禮貌，她還是同意了。

當這張照片登上了 Life 雜誌，卻感動了無數的人。

右腳是我的人生
左腳是別人眼中的我的人生

你不是我，怎知我走過的路、我心中的樂與悲。

幸福如人飲水，冷暖自知。
