Elsin handmade jewellery El.sin is a home-grown brand of handmade jewellery. All the pieces are designed and handmade by Ellen Sin. They are versatile as everyday wear.

Every piece start from inspiration and they are absolutely unique.

Christmas is approaching and what better way to say I appreciate you than a handmade gift for a loved one and even for yourself. I recently added another range of my portable smartphone holder that is made of another type of imported hardwood. I purchased this species in thinner stock and I can work faster therefore bring my time cost down. Both range works the same:-

1. Unisex – for him and for her
2. Pocket sized – easy to carry around
3. Versatile – dock your phone on-the-go
4. Your choice - to dock landscape or portrait
5. Allows you to adjust the angle of your smartphone – very important
during zoom
6. All in all, it’s the perfect companion for your device and it looks great too!

The improvements I made are:-

1. The slot can be customized to thickness of smartphone
2. Two initials can be carved into the wood using morse code

Geometric stacking rings made of 925 silver, from my Arches collection. Two ways of wearing them when they are in a pair - align them according to nut-like shape (as in nuts & bolts) or twist them and new facets shapes appears. That's why stacking rings are so much fun and they have a play factor too. These are HK size 18 and I sell them in a pair.

I sometimes have a habit of going back and forth between collections. The culprit is my wandering mind. I hope you like the change in flow.

I was tidying up my bench and workspace the other day and I was amazed by the pages of drawings I made recently. I am slightly obsessed with ideas that comes at random moments and I would draw them up and do try-outs. And then I might fine tune them to see if they can relate to the body better. Other times, everything would work out perfectly (happy days!). I think I will hang out for a while to see if bolder ideas develops.

Sculpture loop earrings. Metal is gold-filled and wood is yellowheart. First time I design around loop earrings and I am pleased with the results. The loop is a hollow form therefore its very light on the ears. These earrings does have a bohemian flavour to it. Hope you like it!

This is my "Try something new" MCO project. A lifestyle piece!

It all started with me needing a gadget to hold my handphone in place for Zoom and group chats. So I thought I should try to make one for myself. As it turns out, I works so well and now I carry it with me whenever I move around my home. Its beautiful, its small and can adjust your device to many angles.

And then I thought maybe some of you might enjoy having one. I made them in with three different types of wood. The blackwood is the densest and holds a 6.7in handphone upright well. The zebrawood is least dense and holds a 5in handphone easily. The third wood type is olivewood.
