Shoulder size can be confusing. Here are some tips on how to get it right! Did you know that the shoulder is one of the most important measurements for a jacket?

Well in this area, as it will affect other aspects of fit. When it comes to tailoring a suit and coat, the shoulder line is very important.

The shoulder line should be removed in accordance with the figure-to-face ratio, and should not be too large or too small to achieve the correct ratio. A person's face will appear swollen if the shoulder line is too small.

TWO-BUTTON SUITS

If you didn’t already know, yes, there are rules to buttoning a suit jacket. Though these are only guidelines, they are essential if you want to look your best.😁

For decades, the 2-button suit has been the international standard, making it the traditional default button stance. The top button (the only one you should fasten) should be just above your navel. Button placement that appears too low (as in the early 1990s) appears dated.

The two buttons fall lower on the jacket, forming a deep V shape from the longer lapels. It's also ideal for displaying your shirt and tie, as it allows for greater visibility of each.

Who Should Put It On: The two-button suit is flattering on almost every body type. The slimming effect of this jacket on the body makes it flattering. It also gives the wearer the appearance of being taller.
