❤️My recent obsession! The baby oysters from Alice in Wonderland! I didn’t even know they existed until I bought a whole set of Alice in Wonderland blind boxes from Miniso in Guangzhou last year—and one of the designs turned out to be the baby oysters. I was so confused because I didn’t remember seeing them in the movie.

My PP friend then told me they actually appear in the childhood cartoon instead. To my surprise, these baby oysters are very popular in Japan, Hong Kong, and certain parts of China. There’s even a whole store dedicated just to them! ❤️

Anyway, back to that scene—which could honestly be considered a horror scene in the cartoon—where the baby oysters were lured away from home and eaten! It’s supposed to be a nostalgic cartoon, but definitely not for those who were traumatised by this scene as kids.
