5R時尚, 秉持“惜福愛物，延長物命”的精神，以宣導垃圾減量5R原則：拒用（Refuse）、減量 (Reduce) 、重複使用（Reuse）、修復 (Repair) 及回收再生（Recycle）。

證嚴法師說：“每件物品都有壽命長短，東西在被人使用的期間，就表示它的壽命是存在的。好好的愛惜使用，即可超過壽命保證期限。”

The establishment of 5R Eco is to uphold the spirit of “Cherish all goods, extend its lifespan” and to advocate the principles of 5Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle. Master Cheng Yen, founder of Tzu Chi foundation said, “Every item has its lifespan. When in use, it is living its life. Use it with care, and you may extend its life”.
