28days is a trusted online confinement service search tool dedicated to help moms-to-be or new moms find the right postnatal care provider or "pui yuet".

28Days is the brainchild of Ianie Chong who's a mother of four beautiful children. Over the course of her pregnancy and post-natal period, she has had both good and bad experience of the entire process of hiring a pui yuet. One thing that really caused her a lot of stress prior to giving birth was having to seek high and low for a confinement lady. From asking friends and relatives for recommendat

ion to going on Facebook to see if anyone knows someone who offer confinement services, it was always a tiring ordeal. That was just the first part of it. At times, as the confinement lady was recommended randomly, she usually would have no idea about the lady's experience and expertise. Ianie recalled an uncomfortable experience she has had before, but could do little about. The confinement lady was not focused and spent most of her time talking or texting on her phone. On top of this, this lady was also hasty with the preparation of food and ignored basic cleanliness practises with her and the baby. Throughout the entire 28-days of confinement, Ianie had no choice but to compromise. It was through these experiences that inspired Ianie to establish 28Days. She learned that her experience was really common amongst other mothers and having talked to many of them, the one thing that would make this 28-day confinement period a smooth one is to start off with finding a good confinement lady that meets the mother's expectations. However, there were currently no search tool online and many had to depend on random word of mouth to get one. This was when she started discussing with likeminded peers about creating a confinement lady online search platform to make the whole process easier. Hence 28Days was born. As she shared this tool with friends who were moms-to-be, it was very well-received. In fact, many young moms are relieved that finally there's something so simple and easy for them to use, alleviating one of the many main stresses during the most crucial time of their pregnancy. Ianie continues to find ways to improve 28Days, enhancing the tool with more essential and additional features to help mothers not just in Malaysia, but eventually throughout Asia Pacific. Other than running 28 Days, Ianie is also the Editor-in-Chief at iN Publishers, a magazine publishing firm founded by her husband, Iko In.
