Do you know...
The daughter of Tun Mutahir, head of state government, who flourished in the 16th century, Tun Fatimah was a well-known Srikandi.
When Sultan Mahmud set his sights on Tun Fatimah to become his new wife, she is already married to her cousin, Tun Ali. According to ancients, the Sultan was displeased because Tun Mutahir had married off his lovely daughter to someone else while concealing the fact that he had a daughter. The Chief of the Port of Malacca, Shahbandar Raja Mudaliar, one of these courtiers, reportedly create a rumour that Tun Mutahir was plotting to usurp the monarchy. When the courtiers of the Sultan pushed Tun Fatimah divorce her husband, she resisted. This ultimately proved to be her downfall because it resulted in the deaths of all of her male family members, including Tun Mutahir and her husband, Tun Ali.
Finally, Tun Fatimah agreed with the Sultan's requests. She became his fifth wife. However, Tun Fatimah never smiled while serving as the royal consort. She also miscarried three times because she may have done so out of emotional pain or perhaps as a tacit method to inflict revenge on the Sultan for what he did to her family. She didn't begin having children until the Sultan promised that her son would succeed him as Malacca's sultan. Eventually, Fatimah gave birth to two princes and two princesses for the Sultan. While Fatimah's boys were still young, Mahmud had his eldest son, Ahmad Shah, with his first wife, Tun Teja, who succeeded him.
As queen consort, Tun Fatimah ensured that individuals who defamed her father and family were put to death. Following that, she made history by being the first Malay woman to rule her people with charisma like a sovereign queen. It is thought that the Portuguese feared the Queen, Tun Fatimah more than their sultan who is ruling.
