Baby is always AMAZING🤩 and ALWAYS impresses us💡?
Here are some facts that you may not know about it❗️

1. They have no kneecaps🦵

Yes, you heard me right! Babies are in fact born without any kneecaps – they have a structure made of cartilage that resembles a kneecap, but they don’t fully develop until around 6 months of age.

2. Newborn babies have no tears🥹

Whilst your baby will howl and scream to get what they want or need, they won’t theoretically cry. Newborn babies are unable to produce tears until around three weeks of age – this is because their tear ducts are not fully developed at birth. They will always produce moisture to keep the eyes well lubricated and healthy, but there will be no proper tears shed at least for the first 3-4 weeks. Phew!

3. Lots of laughs 🤣

Did you know your baby laughs around 300 times each day? Compare that to the 60 times we laugh each day as adults and it’s easy to see why they’re so happy!

Keep exploring for our future baby

NEWBORN BABY FACTS👶👶👶

1. Learning to talk begins in the womb🧐

Your baby could hear your voice and other sounds from about 23 weeks of pregnancy. So although she won't say her first word until she's about a year old, she's learning about language right from the start.
2. Babies are born with the ability to swim🏊‍♀️

Newborns naturally hold their breath when underwater, and even splash about with their arms and legs. If you take your baby to a swimming class you’ll see these innate talents in action!
3. Birthmarks are surprisingly common😱😱

About a third of babies are born with a birthmark of some kind. The most common type is a stork mark (pictured), also known as a salmon patch or angel kiss. This is a pale pink patch on your baby's face or neck, which may appear redder when she cries. Stork marks usually disappear within six months.

Tips Newborn Baby❗️❗️❗️

1. Stick with breast milk 🤱🤱
Breast milk is the ideal food for babies — with rare exceptions. Healthy newborns don't need cereal, water, juice, or other fluids.

2. Expect variations in your newborn's eating patterns 🍴
Your newborn won't necessarily eat the same amount every day. During growth spurts — often at two to three weeks after birth — your newborn might take more at each feeding or want to be fed more often. Respond to early signs of hunger, rather than keeping a strict eye on the clock.

3. Consider each feeding a time to bond with your newborn 🧑‍🍼👩‍🍼
Hold your newborn close during each feeding. Look him or her in the eye. Speak with a gentle voice. Use each feeding as an opportunity to build your newborn's sense of security, trust, and comfort.

WHY YOU SHOULD WAIT❗️❗️❗️

Giving your baby water before six months isn’t recommended for the following reasons.🧐

1.Water feedings tend to fill up your baby, making them less interested in nursing. This could actually contribute to weight loss and elevated bilirubin levels.🍼🍼🍼

2.Providing water to your newborn could result in water intoxication, which can dilute the other nutrient levels in the baby’s body.😥

3.Too much water causes their kidneys to flush out electrolytes, including sodium, leading to imbalances.😱😱

Tips For Keeping Your Newborn Healthy
1. Dress your newborn appropriately
Make sure your baby is dressed warmly, which might be a little warmer than you are dressed. However, be careful that you don’t put too many layers on them as being too hot and sweaty can lead to dehydration and in turn to a greater risk of getting sick.
2. Encourage hand-washing
Family members, friends, and visitors should be encouraged to wash their hands with a suitable antibacterial hand wash before they hold your baby. They could be contagious or spread harmful germs even if they’re showing no symptoms.
3. Breastfeeding is encouraged,
mends that breastfeeding is the primary food for infants up to 6 months of age when possible. Breast milk can support your baby’s health, giving your newborn the mother’s antibodies and a greater level of immunity.
While there is no shortage of debate concerning the best approach to formula, it is recommended that you speak with your doctor about what’s right for you and your child, as well as ensure that you maintain regular skin-to-skin contact during infancy.
