HIJAB HACKS YOU DIDN’T KNOW
Hacks is a short code to an everyday problem when you are feeling incredibly lazy and don’t want to put the effort in. These hacks may seem like just fun but there is an idea that people have tested them out and they do work.
1. Shower puffs for buns
- I am referring to those girls who love to make a bun out of their hair using a hair claw or a coil so that they can either wear the hijab turban style or wear it, so their hair has volume. If your hair accessory is missing, you can use a rope, rip off a strip from some material, or use stockings to tie your hair back into a bun. Some people even resort to pinning shower puffs so that the back of the head looks puffed up!
2. Emergency pins
- Your pins are easy enough to lose, or you might need one on a windy day. Although you could store them in a section in your wallet or purse, another cool idea is to put them in a pen casing. first, make sure you have a pen that opens, then put your pins in there and close it back. Now make sure you don’t lose the pen!
3. Color me right
- You struggling to make sure your hijab matches your skin tone and life can start looking a bit painful when you cannot work it out. So why not print off a color wheel that will guide you on what to wear?
4. Hijab chaos
- You probably find it easy to just chuck your hijab in the nearest place possible place. Of course, this can lead to other problems such as getting creased or stained. Be smart and either get organized with hangers or with hanger that has sections in it, you can hang your scarf in each section and know exactly which one you would like to wear.

FIND OUT WHAT HIJAB STYLE SUITS YOUR FACE SHAPE
Finding the hijab that fits your face is a key element in looking stylish around the clock.
Here are some tips for you:
1. Oval face shape
- The most common shape. The best hijab style for you is the simple wrap that has this loose illusion, with one side of the wrap dangling to the front and the other one to the back.
2. Round face shape
- The recommended style that works for it is going for a turban that has a tight grip on your forehead to give more of a structured illusion.
3. Square face shape
- You should keep it simple with a loose hijab look falling onto your shoulders plus back.
4. Heart-shaped face
- The most important thing to keep in mind for your hijab is to wear a snow cap underneath. It will always look awesome on you.
5. Diamond face shape
- Be it a structured turban or a well-fitted veil, both would work for you.

As Hijabis, we often neglect our hair because the whole world can’t see it. This is so wrong in so many ways because we are only damaging our hair and blaming the hijab. It isn’t the hijab, it’s the way we treat it!
Here are some tips to take care of your hair as a Hijabi and prevent hair loss:
1) Brushing
- It needs to be done gently so the best way is when your hair is tame and relaxed.
2) Washing
- You need to shampoo your roots and scalp. Don’t put any shampoo through the ends as it's very drying and after that apply the conditioner. Don’t wash your hair every day, your hair will get very dry. You should wash it once in two days.
3) Stop getting lank greasy dull hair
- Before showering, comb your hair with a wide-tooth comb to untangle any knots. You also need to let your hair dry naturally and completely after washing before wearing the hijab and please don’t tie it while it is wet.
4) Letting your hair breathe
- Taking off your hijab as soon as you are home is good for the hair and massaging your roots makes hair more prone to greasiness.
5) Fabrics
- Wear hijab with fabric that can protect your hair from dangerous UV rays and pollution.

There are 6 Hijab Life Hacks that you need to know but we going to post them one by one, the last one!
#6 Ironing Your Hijab in a Hurry
Nothing spoils your look quite like a creased hijab does. As it’s worn close to your face, you don’t want it to look sloppy or distancing to others.
When you’re running late to school or work, sometimes you don’t notice that your hijab needs an iron until you are about to head out the door.
For hijabs made of cotton and linen, you can use a hair straightener to iron your hijab. This is a lifesaver for those times when your hijab is already styled and just needs a bit of iron on the ends. While traveling, your access to an iron can be pretty limited.
Consider yourself fortunate if your hotel does have one. but if not, you are left to only wear creased hijabs, which have been squashed together in your luggage bag.
Next time you find yourself in this situation, try out this solution. Hang your hijab in your bathroom as you shower. The steam in the room should do the trick without any effort on your part.

#5 Warm Weather Clothing Hijabi Life Hacks
📌 When the weather is forecast to be extremely hot, reach for clothing made of cotton, linen, chiffon, and jersey. These materials are lightweight, breathable, and absorb moisture easily.
📌 Avoid wearing dark shades of clothing. They absorb heat, making you feel even warmer.
Pastel and bright-colored clothing is notorious for showing sweat stains. Grey clothing is also no good.
📌 White is the optimal choice for keeping cool and hiding sweat stains at the same time. just to be sure to wear a n**e camisole underneath that matches your skin tone. This will help pesky yellow pit stains. The n**e color won't show through your white clothing.

#4 Wispy Hairs Showing
This scenario would have to be up there with one of the most irritating things you can ever experience as a hijabi.
“Your hair is showing.”
You fumble around with your hijab.
“Is it gone?”
“No, it’s still showing.”
Give yourself one less thing to worry about by being prepared in the morning.
Style your hair in a low bun. Spray hairspray onto a clean toothbrush and use it to brush down any areas where wispy hairs show. For a stronger hold, you can use hair gel. Hair oil is another option for dry hair.

#3 Pin Storage Solution
Proper pin storage is crucial, not only for your safety but also your sanity.
One of the best hijabi life hacks out there is magnetic tape. You simply attach a strip on your bathroom wall or mirror and place your pins on the strip. It does a great job of keeping your pins off the floor and prevents them from getting rusted on your bathroom bench.

HOW TO ROCK THE N**E HIJAB WITH YOUR OUTFIT IN 5 EASY STEPS
1) The right shade of your skin
You need to know how to choose the right n**e shade that matches your skin. It’s better to go with a shade darker than your skin tone to have contrast.
2) Which hijab material to choose
If you are looking for the perfect n**e hijab look, make sure that the shade goes with the headscarf material so that it matches well with your clothes.
3) Match it with your makeup
You can go with a natural or no-makeup look, but you can add some color by wearing bold lipstick such as red or burgundy.
4) Styling your n**e hijab with a popping color
You can wear the n**e hijab with various items from your closet. So, don’t hesitate to try it out with that red blouse and beige pants.
5) The monochromatic look
A monochromatic look is considered one of the most popular trends this season, especially if it’s in beige or n**e tones.

#2 Hijab Storage Solutions
You probably own black hijabs in numerous styles and textures. Rectangle, square, chiffon, and jersey, just to name a few.
You may have been forced to purchase certain colors or styles for work or school. Hijabs are given as Eid gifts every year from friends and relatives. You buy hijabs just to match certain dresses. You stock up on hijabs when they’re on sale.
As our hijab collections grow, it becomes difficult to find storage solutions for them. They tend to take up a lot of space. If stored incorrectly, they begin to crease or smell musty.
What I like to use is a multi-use hanger. One multi-use hanger can hold several scarves, taking up very little space.
Another great option is an over-the-door shoe organizer. Simply roll up your scarves and store one in each compartment.
