SELF CARE DURING PANDEMIC
Self-care is not synonymous with self-indulgence or being selfish. Self-care means taking care of yourself so that you can be healthy, you can be well, you can do your job, you can help and care for others, and you can do all the things you need to and want to accomplish in a day.
We’ve been dealing with coronavirus for years now, and the end is not yet in sight. The social, financial, psychological and physical stressors surrounding the pandemic have been challenging in many ways.
It’s time to take care of yourself. Practicing self-care can help you and your family be better equipped to get through this time together.
Here are few tips for self-care during the pandemic:
1. Go out for a quick jog! Jog around the neighbourhood, get your body some movements and free your mind.
2. Unplug from technology. Online learning or work from home can be overwhelming at times. Shut the devices and focus on your happiness.
3. Reach out to some friends. Look out for each other, we might be alright, but what about our friends?
4. Read more, learn more. Gain more knowledge that is beyond your field, expand your mind. You'll thank yourself!
5. Get dressed once in a while. Surely we miss doing our makeup and dress up. Get a day or two to just rock an outfit and get back on track! You guys can also put on our Hudiena Scarf collections 😘
Take a step back and pay attention to your mental and physical needs during this time. You’ll be glad you did.
