One of our buddies did some diving at Fortescue Bay, Tasmania recently and she was lucky enough to have been greeted by these playful seals!

(Not gonna lie that we, who are stuck here in Kuala Lumpur, are so jealous!)

Mangroves play an important role in the eco system by becoming a breeding and nesting area for a lot of species. It also acts as a nursery area in early life stages for numerous marine species because of its higher oxygen & nutrient content.

Besides being useful to animals, it also contribute a lot to us humans by acting as infrastructure to protect nearby population, preventing erosion and absorbing impact from storms. Above it all, it maintains water quality by filtering sediments and other pollutants.
