Upcycled fashion.
I have a long maxi dress that has been in the wardrobe that I haven't worn for more than 5years. I forgot to take a picture of the dress because I was too excited to do the transformation 😆
So I upcycled it and turn into mum-daugther matching tops. Super love 🥰

Celebrating Young Talent: Ellie's Oriental-Inspired Mini Jacket!

We are absolutely enchanted by this exquisite Japanese-inspired linen and lace mini jacket, meticulously crafted by our very own 10-year-old prodigy, Ellie!

Every detail, from the elegant oriental button to the delicate pearls and tiny red beads, has been lovingly hand-sewn, showcasing an incredible level of dedication and skill.

Ellie began her creative journey with us at Hazel & Nutz when she was just 8 years old, and in two short years, she has blossomed into a truly remarkable artisan. Her passion for design and her meticulous handiwork shine brightly in this unique piece.

Highlight of 2025.
Teaching and working together with my special people at Gem & Bread Special Needs Support Group
The have progressed so much along side with my assistant Annabelle (she volunteered to be apart of my project)
We had recently kick started our social enterprise ( an initiative by Hazel & Nutz )
to train neurodivergent individuals to produce fashion items so that they can earn a living.
Our hope for 2026 is to train Glen ( the young man in the video doing sewing with me) to assist me in daily operations and Shuen to do sewing and beading work.
And Lizhi in fashion designing( a young man currently pursuing his education in animation)

Also, we are grateful to have generous partners that support us by supplying us with materials for our production.

Hazel & Nutz will be launching a new upcycling fashion project.

A social enterprise that advocate the acceptance of neurodivergent individuals in the work force and to raise more awareness on the extremely concerning detrimental impact of fast fashion on the environment.
