One Day One Dua ✨🤲🏻

There are so many kinds of Dua that we can pray for our parents. It can even be any prayer that is voiced deep from the heart. Truly, Allah will hear even our slightest cry. Here is one of the prayers from the Quran to be made for our parents:

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ

Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the judgment will come to pass.

(Surah Ibrahim, 14:41)

اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأُمَّةِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْحَمْ أُمَّةَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْتُرْ أُمَّةَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْبُرْ أُمَّةَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ.

O Allah forgive the ummah of our Prophet Muhammad SAW,
O Allah have mercy on the Ummah of or Prophet Muhammad SAW,
O Allah veil the imperfection of the Ummah of our Prophet Muhammad SAW,
O Allah fix the broken hearts of the Ummah of our Prophet Muhammad SAW.

One Day One Dua ✨🤲🏻

‎لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

"O Allah, there is none worthy of worship besides You. You are Pure, definitely I have oppressed my soul by sinning".

The Qur'an states that these words were recited when Yunus (A.S.) called upon Allah from the belly of the fish. Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) stated in a hadith that when any Muslim makes this dua via these words to Allah, then Allah surely accepts his duas.

Mu’adh (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) took hold of my hand and said, “O Mu’adh! By Allah I love you, so I advise you to never forget to recite after every prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

“O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner”

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدَ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، ولَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ العَلِيِّ الْعَظيِمِ، ربِّ اغْفِرلِي

There is none worth of worship but Allah alone, Who has no partner, His is the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things. Glory is to Allah. Praise is to Allah. There is none worth of worship but Allah. Allah is the Most Great. There is no might and no power except by Allah's leave, the Exalted, the Mighty. My Lord, forgive me

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ. فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

“O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself, and no one forgives sins but You. So, grant me forgiveness and have mercy on me. Surely, you are Forgiving, Merciful”
(Bukhari and Muslim)

One Day One Dua ✨🤲🏻

In a hadith, The Prophet s.a.w encouraged his wife Aisyah r.a. to read the following supplication if one were to meet Lailatul Qadar, the night that is better than a thousand months:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

"O Allah, You are indeed Forgiving and love to forgive, so forgive me."

(Sunan At-Tirmizi)

It is encouraged for every believer to recite the above supplication repeatedly every night in the nights of Ramadan.

Beyond reciting this supplication upon seeking the Night of Qadr, Muslims also make it a practice to recite this Dua from the beginning of Ramadan regularly.
