Pada zaman teknologi yang kini ramai menghabiskan masa yang lama untuk melihat skrin komputer, telefon, atau tablet dapat melemahkan mata. Mata akan menjadi kering, kemerahan dan menjadi penat.

Menggunakan peraturan 20-20-20 dapat membantu mencegah masalah ini.

Setiap 20 minit yang dihabiskan untuk melihat skrin, seseorang harus melihat sesuatu yang berjarak 20 kaki selama 20 saat.

March 23rd is marked as the World Optometry Day. This day is generally celebrated to create awareness about optometry as a profession.

Optometrists are the primary healthcare practitioners of the eye and visual system who provide comprehensive eye and vision care, which includes detection, diagnosis and management of disease in the eye, and the rehabilitation of conditions of the visual system as defined by the World Council of Optometry.
