I just laugh out loud when I see a young tailor charging consultation fee before even talking to a customer 😩😅
You just started. You are still building your customer base..
But because one motivational speaker said “know your worth” now you are sending account details before the person even explains what they want.
Do you know what some of the big brands you’re copying did before they got to where they are?
Years of free consultations.
Years of answering plenty questions.
Years of building trust.
Years of proving themselves.
Some of them still do not charge consultation fee till today.📌
But you that just set up your shop recently, you already have structured consultation package like fashion house in Victoria Island.
Please calm down.
There is level to this thing.
Build value first.
Build trust first.

When people see your value, they will gladly pay for your time.
